Home Programming provides a link among a child's current
therapies. A home program is specifically designed by the input
of a child's current therapists, teachers, parents and the
Learning Facilitator. The goal is to supplement a child's
therapies, not replace them. Our staff provides the extra help
your child needs, with an emphasis on speech, language, fine
and gross motor skills, special education, homework help,
reading programs, handwriting or academic tutoring.
If your child has Sensory
Processing difficulties, we can help carry out the child's
particular sensory diet. Unique Link is experienced in Sensory
Integration, however the diagnosis and goals must be
recommended from an Occupational Therapist or other individual
who is experienced with Sensory Integration.
Providing extra help at home
and school is an advantage to children. Unique Link encourages and
stimulates learning in a natural, more functional environment.
Working along with other professionals involved with a child and
implementing a home program promotes generalization or carryover
into the child's natural environment.
